The Karl Walker Trust was established by Deed of Trust on the 10th of October 2000 and is registered as charity number 1083400 in the UK.

The aim of the Trust is to:-

Provide grants to individuals, residing in the Sunderland area, to assist them in undertaking projects in the community which will enhance their education and skills.

The Trustees are particularly interested in supporting projects which involve the
use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in socially excluded communities.
